I have a lot of symptoms
Tired, brain fog, joint pain, dry skin, hair loss
Blood results show: tsh 2.18, free t4 12.7
Is this OK ??

Just been tested again today. Have had under active for 8yrs ish.

Have symptoms even though recent tests came back fine (take 75mcg) and doc said that it has been found that people function better when their levels are on the higher side of normal - normal is 9-19 so from yours I would say you need to higher.

Lots of knowledgable folk on thyroid on here so should get lots of advice

OP, do you know what the ranges are for those results? It's difficult to interpret them without.

Post your ranges. Usually it's ABOUT 0.3-4.5. So at 2 you could definitely go up a tad.

Usually best to aim for around 1 or just below and t4 around 20 (if the above range)

GP is really supposed to ask about symptoms these days and adjust accordingly.
