Over the festive/new yr period, dp has been really unwell, very fluey, congested etc and has only, in the last few days felt slightly better. He has just phoned me from work in a panic as now, all of a sudden- he has started to feel unwell again. He has described his symptoms as-

tingly then sharp pain from jaw, all up around head and into eyes. He is hot and sweaty and feels as if he is going to pass out.
I thought that maybe his pain could be Neuralgia, but its a constant pain. He has just contacted Drs but its minor ops today and they cant get him in, I have told him to go the NHS walk in centre.

Now he is panicking on phone...

Try NHS direct? They've been pretty good for me.

Sinus infection?

eldestgirl · 04/01/2007 09:57

Maybe a secondary bacterial infection in sinuses/ears. Would give him a fever "spike". Drfinitely walk in centre to see if he needs antibiotics.
