Taking the pill back to back

I ran two packets together last month to avoid my period. I was planning to do this quite frequently because I have a health condition which is exacerbated by my period and I'm finished having children. I'm two days into my third pack without a break and I've started having my bleed anyway. Feels just like a period- back ache etc.
Should I stop taking this pack and have my week break? Send like my body is telling me to do so. Do I then need additional contraception for 7 says because I have stopped mid-pack? And then I assume I would need to do that again when I get to the end of the pack because there are only 19 days of pills left?
Thanks

Sounds like your using breakthrough bleeding. If you want to use the pill like this you should really discuss it with your GP.

Presonaly I'd carry on taking the pill until the normal break and go discuss a plan of action with your regular doctor.

You really need to discuss it with your GP, it might differ between brands of pill. My GP told me it was fine to take it back to back and you only have a gap to have a break.through bled because the men who designed the pill thought women would like to have a 'period'.
