Blocked ear

Have been sick for 2 weeks with tonsilitis/cold/sinus problems - just completing a course of antibiotics for tonsilitis. Now I have a really blocked ear which is feeling quite sore. Any ideas on how to unblock ear or will it just clear on it's own?

Feeling fed up of being sick!

You may well need another course of antibiotics; get the GP also to look at your ear as soon as possible.
