Nits advice please

My head has been itchy for a week or so. I have psoriasis on my scalp but this itchy feels different. I've had a look and I have white bits in hair but this could be skin (!).

There are nits where I work and at DC school.

So I've got a comb and lots of conditioner. DC are all clear but when I did mine, I had lots of opaque, tiny flecks. There were literally 100s. Are these nits? I've found no creatures as such and don't know whether its linked to my flaky scalp!

Should I just keep combing and conditioning or get a treatment just in case?

Could you get a good friend to have a good look and maybe but comb your hair for you?It's very difficult to do your own thoroughly imo.
I like the nitty gritty comb,they also do an aromatherapy solution which is easier to comb through than conditioner.
