Help, 7mth old throwing up because of heavy cold...

Anyone got any advice for me? My 7mth old, Jack, has just had bronciolitus and now has a very runny nose and eyes. When he breathes, I can hear liquid noises.

This morning when I woke him up, his nose was almost completely blocked up. If all that wasn't bad enough, he is throwing up once or twice a day (I think due to the mucus in the back of his throat).

What should I do?

Is he keeping down fluids? If not i'd go to the doctors.

My DS is full of cold too- have slathered him in Vicks and put baby Olbas Oil on his sheet at night. I also found that putting a towel under one end of his mattress elevated his head slightly, reducing congestion.

It's all fairly haphazard. He keeps some food/drink down, but then promptly throws up his next feed/milk. This has been going on for about 10 days now.

I went to the doctors initially and got given an inhaler, but they said there wasn't much they could do with regard to the mucus and therefore the sickness.

He sounds awful at night though and I'm a bit worried about him being able to breathe properly as he lies on his front to sleep.
