6 1/2 mth old DS has 2nd cold in a month now. This time there's a bit of a hoarse cough aswell as a runny nose. Any tips on boosting his immune system, or good cold remedies?

Not sure there's much you can do to be honest. I remember my DD going through her first winter with an almost continuous cold or bug of some sort. I remember thinking that every cold is a boost to her immune system.

My advice would be give her a good diet, medication (eg Calpol) when she needs it, maybe invest in a steam humidfier to help her breathe while she is sleeping, I also used Karvol too which smelt nice (not sure how much good it did!) and a blast of fresh air every day!

Hope she gets better soon

Difficult with a young baby. Not much you can give them.
Calpol/baby brufen for fever. Keep fluid intake up. I have a bib pinned to wall above dd's cot to put a few drops of Karvol/similar on.
I think that bright coloured fruit/veg help boost general wellbeing.
Check with your local Pharmacist and see if there's anything they can recommand.
Found this . Any good to you?
