Leg pain at night

Hi for some time now I have been suffering with what feels like an awful pulling pain at the top of the right side of my leg to my hip it only happens at night when I'm in bed it's very uncomfortable I spend most of the night twisting and turning. .Anyone else had or suffer with this ?

Have you tried sleeping with a cushion between your knees? I get a lot of hip pain at night and a cushion provides support for your upper hip.

Meaning the hip that is uppermost.

The pain is a pulling feeling.Ive scared myself on Google there was mention of clots :(

What I experience is pain from my hip being pulled by the weight of my leg, if that makes sense?

I don't know what it is but it's so uncomfortable. .The cushion helps a lot I think if it continues I'll have to see the Dr ..I
