Just curious, my mum has it and is suffering... we know all the NHS stuff - I'm just trawling for more info, experiences etc..

Yes I am sure my Granny-in-law had it and its very painful. Some days couldnt get up first thing as she was so stiff.
Was a long time ago, my memory fails me.
Does this sound familiar?
She is a lot better now.
Sorry your Mum has it .

thanks for replying...

yes it sounds like the same thing, can0't get up some mornings. Glad to hear your g-in law is better. My mum is already 80 and has had it for a year now... just wondering when it might start to improve.

Some days she's ok, she's got a good doctor and all the medications etc...but I do feel sorry for her.
