Blood tinged mucus

Morning! I'm on antibiotics for a sinus infection and slight tonsilitis since Friday. The doctor asked me on Friday what colour the discharge was and was it bloody. It wasnt on Friday (was yellow) but its definitely got a pink hue of it now (bit peachy, in fact). Is that good, bad or wha?

It might be that the insides of your sinuses are inflamed. I wouldn't worry about it too much because on the rare occasion I get a bad cold the insides of my nostrils become inflamed and bleed a little. It clears up of its own accord.

Thanks Bunbaker. I'm not a sinussy person usually so am not really up on all this yellow snot! Meds are definitely working tho - feeling a hell of a lot better.
