could it be old age

My last three periods have been significantly lighter than previously. I usually bleed for 4-5 days but my last three periods have been for 1.5 days. My cycle is still regular, just much shorter. Is this normal for a 39 year old? I feel quite lethargic afterwards and wonder if it's related?

It's normal to have some fluctuations but it's not normal to be in peri menopause at 39. If it carries on, see your GP and ask for tests and read the info hereDaisy Network

Thanks Polly, it's all a bit odd. My periods have always been very regimented.
