Pitted fingernails

Anyone know what causes pitted nail bed, my smallest finger nail had some pitting by the cuticle about 3 weeks ago and is now completely pitted and now the ring finger nail had started pitting too.

I've got a few on a couple of nails I don't think it really means anything. . But if your are bad it mean a deficiency or something? I had read on the Internet what they all mean but I can't remember.

Psoriasis can cause pitting in your nails. Mine are awful! Check with your GP if worried

There are quite a few different causes of nail problems. Given you have issues in more than one nail it would be worth seeing your GP as they would need to see it in real life to know what's what.
