dd2 has a touch of laryngitis which since she is learning to talk at the mo this is making for much merriment!

On a more serious note how long to leave it until we taker her to the GP?

hmm , dd had bronchiolitis at 3 months and one of the symptoms of the onset of that , and croup, is losing the voice - dd cried like a cat for example. Get her checked out tomorrow if poss.

when i had laryngitus it was VERY painful and definitely not at all funny.

i had tonsilitus at the same time and lost my voice for 9 months in total.

should she actually have laryngitus i suggest she would be feeling very poorly and i dont think you would find it very funny either

thanks - hadn't thought it was that serious as she is fine in herself. She is just very croaky and has lost her cry!

NannyL - i'm guessing that since she is her normally sunny self that she probably hasn't got laryngitis and its all part and parcel of the cold she has.
