Dd1 was violently sick in the night and when questioned she said she had had stomach ache before hand. Anyway she has not been sick since and said her stomach feels a bit better.

Dd2 however has no been complaining of stomach ache all day. It has to be the same thing as dd1 really doesn't it ? She had a little soup at lunch time and was fine with that but has refused anything else, just keeps saying her tummy hurts.

Question is, shall I give her calpol or anything or is it likely to make her be sick ?

If she's gonna be sick I would much rather her do it now than once she is in bed, but tis sods law isn't it.

Sympathies. My two have recently recovered from this bug & it's horrible.
I gave DS2 calpol when he woke up complaining of tummy ache & he threw up shortly after.
If she also has the bug, I'm not sure that calpol really does much to ease it tbh.

I would just give her lots of fluids and let her eat if she's hungry, try to avoid milky things as this can sometimes make sickness worse. Calpol won't stop the sickness, just help with pain but if there is no pain I wouldn't bother just incase it makes her sick again. Poor thing and you!

Yeah thats what I thought tbh, just feel really mean telling her there is nothing I can do.

Am going to give her a nice warm bath, see if that will help.

I feel very wishy washy and have a very bubbly tummy, but am ignoring it for as long as possible

I don't think there is any kind of medication available to ease tummy upsets in children. I wish there was, as it's so horrible for them.
Hope your DD's are soon feeling better & that you don't come down with it.
