Nappy rash and dirty nappies

dd who is 19 months started with a virus around 3 weeks ago, finally aftre a week of it not clearing our gp gave her antibiotics. Towards the middle/end of the course she started with really loose nappies (around 9 a day) and the worse napy rash ever..she never sufferes with nappy rash BUT her bum was so sore and red .

We put it down to the medication and the course was finshed last thursday. Thing is her nappies are still bad, not as loose the majority of the times and vary from a paste consistancy to more poo like iykwim. And averages over the week about 3 nappies a day (usually1-2). The rash seemed to have cleared up along with the dirty nappies BUT today in the space of 5 hours I have done 5 changes and now her bum is back to being very sore and is in fact bleeding sightly. .

I have noticed a few teeth coming through which could add to it..??? I have used a barrier cream Bepu something..and now on tesco bum cream which I am piling on thickly as it seemed to work iykwm.

Should I be worried..?????? What more can I do..? BTW they stink...like eggs or veg even on days when she hasn't eaten either..??

id go to docs, she may need some medicated cream like caneston.my lo had chest infection, sickness and diarhoa and cold last week, his bottom was so sore it bleed!hes got caneston which is working well.were changing him double the amount so instead of 5/6 times hes changed 10 times.he was also on antibiotics so could be that or just run down?
