DD had one spot yesterday, now has 2 they appear to look like classic chicken pox spots & she has been 'unwell' for a few days, also has a bad cough which has been coming on since last week but she's off her food & had a slight temp for a couple of days. Is it possible that it's just really mild & she's been lucky to get away with so few spots?
2 classmates were off last week with them & we've several friends who've had to cancel Christmas so she has been in contact with them but it seems strange to have only 2 spots. Gave her a bath yesterday afternoon to see if more came out but it's only been that extra one.
Merry Christmas to all who are 'under the weather'

My uncles had chicken pox & were covered in spots - my mum kept getting told off for saying she felt ill - her mum just thought she wanted the attention her brothers were getting! It wasn't til the doctor examined her that they realised she had it too she had just one spot in the middle of her back & that's all she ever got - though she felt as bad as her brothers.

Oh, poor dd and poor you! Get her to write a letter to Rudolph asking if the Reindeer have chicken pox too - after all, they are covered in spots!

We have a grand total of 5 spots now!
