Birthday party tomorrow and covered in spots!!!

DS is 4 tomorrow. He is lively and well, but covered head to foot in spots!!!
Gp said on Tuesday it was a virus. I havent heard of anyone else with it none of my other children have it.
What should I do about party?

DD went to a party this morning and the Mum rang first thing to tell us that the burthday girl had chicken pox, the party was still going ahead and it was up to us if we wanted to go or not. My dd has had it so went along!

You should phone everyone and give them the choice. I would be furious if I found out when arriving that the birthday child was ill, especially at Christmas. You couldn't then tell your child s/he wasn't allowed to go when already at the front door with present in hand.
