Hi my dad has s been put in hospital. The doctors said they found a shadow on the ct scan of his right lung they said its either pneumonia or it's a tumour my dad had lung cancer 2 yrs ago and nothing showed up on hie last scan could this be pneumonia

Are they doing further testing to determine whether it is pneumonia or cancer?

No one can tell you which it is here - but the hospital should be taking quick measures to determine which of the two it is as both obviously would need urgent treatment.
