excrutiating lower back pain

So for about a month I've had a nagging pain in lower back next to spine just above my right buttock.
I have been to Kettle Bell classes which exasperated the pain so much I had to leave yesterday's class.
Walking also aggravates it.

This afternoon I asked my son just to pull my tight wellie off and nearly went through the roof with pain! It seems as if pulling my leg makes it worse.

I'm not sure what it can be; I did think sciatica but the pain is localised and no numbness/pins and needles. Anyone any ideas?

I think you've put up with it long enough! If budget allows, find yourself a chiropract or osteopath. If not, get GP to refer you.

Hope you feel better soon.
