We have just got bck from the hospital after a horrible shock. DS1 has got meningitus and if it wern't for our quick reactions it may have been fatal so please take a few minutes to re educate yourself on the symptoms on meningitus.

DS is thankfully fine he came out with dark purple oinkprick spots all over his face, back and arms, i rushed him to the hospital and within minutes of us being there we were taken into resus and were surrounded buy loads of drs, they pumped hi full of i.v antibiotics and thankfully he's in the clear, he's home now with a canular in ankle and we have to go for daily trips to the hospital for more anti biotics, we also have to keep a close eye on DS2 incase he catches it.

The hospital were fantastic, they put us in an isolation room and gave me and DP a bed and let me keep DS2 with me so i could breastfeed him. They made us feel really welcome and safe and were all so kind to us. They acted quickly and saved DS.
