...at the end of Women's Hour she just said she would be having some time off for treatment. She said the prognosis is excellent, thank goodness.

just heard this anorak. so so sad.she sounded really positive thought. I can't help thinking about Nick Clarke-another R4 presenter who had cancer and recently died- and who she must have known really well.

Just read that her Mum died the day before her announcement so she has so much to deal with. Hope she makes a good recovery.
