My ds (3.9) is having a hernia operated on tomorrow and although i'm not worried too much about the actual op, i'm very concerned about afterwards. My ds is incredibly energetic and everything is done at 100mph... how on earth do i slow him down when i get him home?
Has anyone been through this? Do they give any medication with sedative type qualities, or do i just hope that he's aware of his discomfort and tones his energetic bursts down??
Even after having a morphine shot lastnight, he was literally bouncing off the walls for four hours!
Any advice or experiences would be welcome...ta...
