Plurisey

Hi all,

I've been diagnosed as having pleurisy following a lingering cough of 4 weeks (plus). Been giving antibiotics, pain killers and a pump to help with coughing.

Is pleurisy contagious, and how long could it take to recover. Any tips appreciated,

Hi, I had it in the summer and was v unwell. The pain in my ribs was awful.

Id say the initial bad pain went within 3/4 days of the antibiotics but I felt like I'd been hit by a bus and was off work a week or two.

The doctor said it can take up to 6 weeks for it to clear up properly and the soreness/tenderness to go away.
