Can anyone offer any advice on 10 month DD who is sick twice a day?

Hi

As a newborn my DD would posset a bit and occasionally had projectile vomiting when she hadn't been winded properly.

Since weaning her at 6 months she seems to be sick quite a lot. Started with her gagging now and again on some foods which would make her just churn up lots and lots of vomit. About 5 wks ago I took her to the doctors as she seemed to be sick at least once a day and it was a lot, Dr said there had been a bug going round and to keep her foods bland and ensure she is hydrated. Then she started being sick in her cot after I'd put her to bed and it's got me a abit parnoid as she sleeps on her tummy (I've never put her down like this, she always gets in this position herself).

I'm going to take her to the Doctor again tomorrow but I just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences? Tonight when she was sick in her cot she was really retching the poor thing.

Thanks

My DS has been doing this on and off for about 6 weeks. He's 15 months old.

It started off with a tummy bug - projectile vomiting for 6 days but, when he wasn't being sick, he seemed fine. Dr said as long as he seemed ok and didn't have a temperature and was drinking plenty then not to worry. Since then he has thrown up at least twice a week for no apparent reason. I checked with the dr again as it seems like a long time for this to be going on and again he said, as long as he is behaving normally and is hydrated and not losing weight then he should be fine.

I know this isn't very helpful but I hoped it might reassure you if you knew others had a similar situation.

I hope your doctor is helpful tomorrow. Let us know how you get on.
