Hi all, after stopping smoking and putting on 4 stones (was already well over weight) , I began to have problems with constantly feeling sick, bloated, feeling of being constricted around my stomach, feeling of having a lump in my throat and now on top of things am beginning to get palpitations, I was sent for a tube down the throat and told I had a small hiatus hernia, am on tablets, ( I have taken tablets for indigestion for years, I am not getting indigestion ) the tablets were increased, but after a year and a half of running back and forward to the docs am still no better and feel it's getting worse, the only thing I don't have is any real pain, sometimes am uncomfortable in between my shoulders, has anyone had these symptoms with gallbladder?, the past 4 generations of women in my family have all had their gallbladder out, I probably sound like I am clutching at straws but am totally fed up of feeling unwell all the time, sorry for the long post, any input would be much appreciated.

It could well be. Ask for an ultrasound.
