2 year old DS with persistent cough - any home remedies which might help?

He's taking cough medicine (ha bloody ha), calpol and drinking a lot but its going on and on and on and on.

Any advice much appreciated. Ta

depends on teh cough really steam is an expectorant, hot drinks (warm for 2 yo) honey and lemon or blackcurrant (i use jelly if i have no cordial in), try a wet towel over ther radiator if its a dry cough

still here, but is easing a bit. thanks for asking!

I phoned the Docs and they said unless he's coughing anything up, its not an infection and just to let it run its course.
