Hi, i have a 16 week DS who has become really cranky and likes to piuy his bib in his mouth. He also puts his thumb in his mouth and if i give him a dummy he tends to try and bite it instead! Is he teething?

Also has anybody tried Homeopathy to treat it my mom in law is a big fan, but im not so sure!

Sounds like he might be teething. Sometimes it's just the teeth moving down a bit that makes them grouchy too.
Mine usually got a bit of dioreah (spelling) when they cut a tooth too.

Hope he is feeling better soon!!

i have used the nelsons teething granules which are homeopathic - they are brilliant, i've bulk bought packs now as they really calmed DD1 down. they're made from camomile and the effect was almost instaneous.

is he dribbling lots? mine is waking up in a pool of dribble all the time and sucking thumb in her sleep.

hope he feels better.

Be prepared to wait a few months yet for teeth to actually cut. IME they go dribbly, and start chewing stuff, and you can use 'They might be teething' to excuse off days for ages and ages before having a tooth to show for it.

Dd and ds1 were both 8 months or so before cutting first tooth. Ds2, now 17 weeks is already behaving just like yours.
