Frequent periods

Hi ,I'm 49 & when I was younger my periods were a 32 day cycle this settled to 28 after I has my daughter 9 years ago..How ever my last period started again at 23 days and I've just come on again today after 17 days .
I am worried as my period has never been this early before...I'm wondering why and thinking that maybe my body is changing now ..Any advice please

Would visit the GP; any such changes should be reported to the doctor.

Yes I agree I'm not sure of its a period or spotting...My Surgery is ridiculous and closes half day on a Thursday .
I'll call in the morning hope it's not long for an appt on top of Xmas

It's is quite normal for your cycle to change, shorten and become quite irregular as you approach menopause. Just always carry sanitary protection with you.
