wisdom tooth extraction at 11 weeks pregnant

Has anyone out there had their wisdom teeth taken out in the first trimester of pregnancy. Plus has anyone had IV sedation during pregnancy?? I need both of these and am petrified about damaging my unborn baby. Please help.

I was supposed to have my wisdom tooth out before I was 12wks pg, but I phoned up the hospital and told them, who said that they didn't really want to operate until after the birth, so to give them a call then and they would put me on the emergancy list, but to call them if I was in a lot of pain and they would see what they could do.

I had one out in the summer (but not pregnant) and had a huge amount of pain afterwards. Better though before you had the baby as you've less to cope with. I had a condition called dry tooth - lots on the internet about it which happens after they're extracted sometimes.
