Hi, I would just like to ask if echinacea can be taken daily? I am taking Vogel echinacea at the moment (started cold symptoms today)
Can it be taken daily as a preventative rather than a cure? I also suffer from cold sores so thinking it might be good for preventing outbreaks.

I think it's supposed to be daily with a break every 3-4 weeks

However, DH and I don't take it anymore since he had to have some things checked on his kidneys. The Drs said something about it not being to great.

Afaik vit d is of more use immunity wise, and vit c if taken daily.

*Too great.

I don't know what it is though.

I used to take it for years; I haven't seen much difference when not taking it.
