runny nose and sneezing

Hi,
I have a cold! Runny nose and constant sneezing. What would you recommend I take to stop it? I have a baby to care of, and no one else around!

Sorry but nothing will make it go more quickly. Some people reckon vitamin c helps but the evidence is poor.

If you feel bunged up decongestant tablets will help with that, paracetamol for headache, strep slid for sore throat. Treat the symptoms you have. Balm tissues are nicer on your nose.

Get well soon (and hope you have plenty of Brew and Cake in).
