Where's my period?

Anyone got any thoughts on this one...?

Period should have arrived yesterday. I'm on the combined pill so normally regular as clockwork. But nothing happened. Same thing happened two months ago, but then I came on as normal overnight between Saturday/Sunday. Anyway, this time nothing at all till this morning. Then the teeniest bit of brownish spotting late morning today. And now nothing again.

I'm pretty certain I can't be pregnant. I'm on the pill, haven't missed any, and my sex life is not exactly hot atm (like, about once a month...!). And anyway I don't 'feel' pregnant.

But I thought that if you were on the pill 'periods' were pretty much guaranteed, as they were controlled by the artificial hormones in the pills. (Though I could be wrong...)

I am 39. Could I be menopausal already?

Or is this just a 'blip'?

maybe do a pg test just to be sure, then see gp.

I know, littlepiggie... that's the obvious thing to do, isn't it? TBH, I am more scared of being told I'm menopausal than of finding out I'm pregnant. But I don't think that the pregnancy explanation is very likely...

Hmmm... so, OK, have ruled out pregnancy! ( but vaguely relieved...)

Is my reproductive system shutting up shop and moving to the seaside?
