Dd (14months) only coughs at night?

Could this be astma? My dd is fine all day, then in the evening and night she coughs really badly?
No-one in the family has asthma, so I don't know the signs of it!

Mine both do the same DS2 is only 4 weeks and DS1 is 2.3 they both cough untill they make themselves sick at night i don't know why though sorry! DS1 is undergoing tests in the hospital ut he has tons of other symptoms as well.

Is there loads of teddys in her room?
My dd used to cough at night a lot ad I thought it was asthma, the doctor adviced me to get rid of all the teddies in her room and declutter so there was less things for dust to cling onto....

try a humidifier in her room too.
plus raising one end of the cot helps.
