Sore Feet!

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem? I'm only 44 (and in generally good health) and for the past few months I find that if I've been sitting down for a long time, my feet are really painful when I get up and start walking again. It's even worse first thing in the morning - I hobble to the bathroom, but one morning when I went straight downstairs, I felt really quite unsafe on the stairs. I also find that if I've done quite a bit of standing during the day, my feet are still really sore when I'm sitting down in the evening. This isn't from doing lots of walking, I noticed it most on a day when I'd been decorating.

I'm seeing the doctor about something else tomorrow morning, so will mention it then, but just wondered if anyone else has the same experience?

What area of your feet? Is it the bottom of your heels? Are you overweight at all?

It's mostly the top of my feet. I'm not overweight.

Could it be Plantar Fascitis? This is relieved by Stretching your feet. When I had it I had to really stretch before I got out of bed and after any period of inactivity. Standing with toes on the edge of bottom stair and letting your heels drop is also a good stretch, and rolling a bottle/can (preferably with ice in) under your feet also good.
I now have Mortons but that feels like a lump stuck under your feet.
