OK so what's the low down on this puking bug I seem to have...?

Was sick 7 times last night with a temp. Feel really bleuuughhh. Anyone else had a sick bug? How long does it last? Am I going to die?

we all had one about 2 weeks ago we were all sick for 12 hours then suddemly stopped it was horrible i couldnt keep anything down not even water, hope you feel better soon

oh, poor you. we all had it 2 days ago. now right as rain.
my ds's class has fallen from 30 to 10 this week, so I figure it's inevitable that we'll all get it

try ginger in boiled rice for your first solid meal: the only thing my kids ate for 2 days and it stayed down

My DS1 had this last week. Several hours of puking, followed by about 24 hours of lounging about not eating and being crap, and then fine. Really powerful initially (came on really fast), but gone pretty fast, too, really.

you are not going to die - you just might feel like it!!!!! DH and DS have both had it and are now both on the mend - took about 4 days for the baby and 5 days for DH .... drink plenty of fluids, eat if you can bear to and rest - according to our GP everyone has it. Get better soon!

oh poor you. we've all had it as well. ds1 (nearly 3) came down with it last, yesterday evening, and has been puking all over the place, and now has D too. he said this morning: mama i might not go to nursery today, because i am a bit poorly. ds2 (nearly 1) has had a whole week of it, but he wasn't actually that poorly, just had the D&V, but no temperature.
there do seem to be a couple of bugs around, at least a quick and nasty one, and a long and nasty one. let's just hope for that you have the quick one....

i feel your pain all, my dd came down with it on weds night, 1 episode of vomitting, 6 episodes of diarrhoea. hardly eaten anything in 36 hrs. which always worries me because shes petite as it is. temperature keeps shooting up, but once it has come down shes all perky!!!
