Friend with OCD/anxiety

My very good friend has OCD and anxiety. I was wondering if anyone with it or had it could offer any advice on how I can help or tips for things to say/not?!
She has had therapy but her sessions came to an end before she had learned to cope, which I'm really furious about. She is just about holding a job down but it is affecting her daily life. I cant pursuade her to get more therapy. Her compulsions are about germs. Her hands are red raw from scrubbing. I wanted to buy her some nice hand wash and cream to soothe them but is this endorsing/encouraging the behaviour?! At a loss :-/

OCD UK is a great website full of imformation about OCD. It's such a horrible illness, I hope things improve for your friend.

Thanks for both responses. Gloves wouldn't work since its not the physical possibility of having germs on her hands but the mental obsessions that cause the behaviour. I'll definitely check out the website. I wonder if she's been on it, might be a help..
