my dd toddler has cystitis - any remedy tips please!!!

Hi, I am pretty sure my dd whose 2.9 yrs has cysytitis, she has all the classic symptoms. I have a doctors appointment for her in an hour but wanted advice on what she can eat/drink and what she should avoid to help her get better.

Poor girl - I still remember the excruciating pain I had from cystitis a few years ago.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

plenty to drink, water, cranberry juice

frequent emptying of the bladder

and encourage front to back wiping.

If it is a UTI (common cystitis), antibiotics should clear it up.

Thanks for the suggestions. Doctor has given antibiotics so fingers crossed it all clears up soon.
