I think I am pregnant, unplanned but definitely not unwanted. I have taken Efexor for (fairly severe) depression and anxiety for 2 years. I'd tried many ADs and this works for me.
My GP (once he reads up on it) will explain that there is no evidence of an increased risk of malformation but that some babies experience withdrawl-like symptoms in the first 10 days. He will say I must weight this up against the possibility of a relapse if I stop taking the medication and the effects that might have on me, DP and baby.
Anyone got experience of either staying on or coming off Efexor during pregnancy? Love to hear from you.
