Root Canal Treatment

I had a tooth treated recently and have since read that they are not a good idea and that 97% of people with terminal cancer had such treatment. Am now desperate to have the tooth removed. Has anyone any experience of having a root canal entire tooth removed?

Sounds like scaremongering to me. Where did you find that stat? Bear in mind prolonged cancer treatment has a detrimental effect on oral and dental health.

The only sites I found on searching were either anecdotal chat or very old. None of the UK charity or advice sites came up.
