I know there are loads about at the moment, but my dr surgery are crap. i was really ill over the weekend, glands so swollen i cant swallow with out it killing me, now i have lumps at the back of my throat. Obviously one would assume ts tonsilitis. Dr just said its a virus keep taking fluids and youll be fine.

Ds 2 was really poorly a couple of weeks ago, really bad cough, dr said its a virus, nothing we can do about it. Turned out to be bronchilitis.

Surely we still have the right to see a dr if we feel we need to???? Or have i got the wrong end of the stick about the NHS?

Hate to say it but....tonsillitis is often caused by a virus and brochiolitis is caused by a virus too. Sorry ......!

Whatever both tonsilitis and bronchiolitis are commonly caused by vruses, so your doctor is probably right.
