could this be just a mouth ulcer?

5 year old DS complained last night of a 'bubble' on the roof of his mouth which I took to be his first mouth ulcer.
He's complaining about it hurting again now and when I've just looked, it's quite huge, about the size of one of his teeth.
Is that too big to be an ulcer do you think? Not that I have any idea what else it might be . It's not red or angry looking, it's quite light in colour.

TIA
