Lupus (SLE), under active thyroid and now a new PCOS diagnosis...

Anyone else feel like the health-related universe is having a laugh?!

I have a 9yo DD, been TTC baby number 2 for 8 years, had 9 MCs (1 2nd trimester and 8 1st) a million and one scans, blood tests, Lupus diagnosis, invasive tests up my lady garden, huge weight gain, UA Thyroid diagnosis, hospital stay for pneumonia and gall bladder infection , emergency gall bladder removal joint surgery and a partridge in a pear tree...

After the numerous scans in the past 8 years I have this week been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries on top of everything else! What next??!

Apparently I'm 13 times more likely to get diabetes and heart disease, I will always struggle with my weight, the odds are stacked massively against me ever carrying a baby to term again (my DD was by the miscarriage specialist consultants own admission "a miracle" based on my lupus blood test results) All of this information I have found out for myself as the GP has not been exactly a font of knowledge on the subject...

I'm just rambling but it would be interesting to speak to others who are riddled with diagnoses like me... It doesn't even have to be the same diagnosis as me but maybe the same annoyed spirit?!

i've been offered operations on 6 different body parts . Decided to keep them all and live with the results.

You are having it rough! Is it harder for people with lupus to have children? Because I've never heard that before.
