So back in June my boyfriend and I decided that it would be best for me to get the contraceptive implant before we started having sex. We've mostly been using condoms in addition to this (just to be extra safe) but there have been a couple of times where we haven't. Since I got the implant, I have had light periods that last for two weeks at a time, but I'm beginning to panic as I'm running very late for my period. I'm sure it's just a side effect of the Implanon, as I have not had any pregnancy symptoms, and it seems unlikely that I would get pregnant. I'm going to take a test tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone else has had their period suddenly stop while on the implant? Thanks in advance :)
