Fall - battered and bruised

I fell (from a pony) yesterday and my knee and wrist took the worst of it but my whole body is aching and sore.

Anyway, I feel out of sorts in myself as well: exhausted and uncomfortable and tired. Is it just my body trying hard to heal?

Also, my wrist is fricking killing me and I am getting no sympathy from anyone at home but here I will admit I am really struggling with the baby! How long do they take to heal generally?

Thanks :)

Did you get an x-ray? Is anything broken. The exhaustion and feeling out of sorts could be the shock of the fall. I fell down some stairs and broke my elbow, twisted my knee and bruised my rear end. I felt out of sorts for a couple of days and sore all over.

Oh, poor you Eva Sad Yes, that 'sore all over' is pretty descriptive!

I haven't had an X Ray, I may try to do so tomorrow if everything's still hurting as much. My knee was a terrible bloody mess and I've knocked it a few times and it hurts, but really my wrist is so painful! Feel rather pathetic!

Do go and get it x-rayed something could easily be broken. Have you someone who can help with the baby. It must be a nightmare looking after a little one when you are so sore. I was lucky mine were older and looked after me. Ds3 (7 at the time) accompanied me to A&E.
