For the last couple of days I've been experiencing some uncomfortable (although not unbearable) itching in my vagina and around the vulva.

I've never had thrush or any kind if infection down there and I'm panicking like mad. I wiped earlier and there were about 5 tiny spots of bright red blood, I don't know whether it's from where I'm itchy and inflamed or if it's something more sinister. I never bleed I between periods.

About a week ago I was having bad stomach pains but it coincided with when I ovulate and I've had these pains in the middle of the month since I was a teenager.

I rang for a doctors appointment on Friday but they couldn't fit me in until Wednesday afternoon. I've had 2 sleepless nights worrying already and I suppose I just need someone to put my mind at rest.

I've been having a little bit of discharge which is thicker than usual but no nasty odours coming from it.

Everything's pointing to thrush to me. I really would just treat for that for now and keep the appointment about the bleeding. It is possible you're scratching during your sleep.

Maybe have a look with a mirror?

Yeah that could be possible. I'm just trying to keep it clean but washing with water only. I don't have baths just showers.

There's a small chance I could be pregnant, I'm not sure about the implications of that, but I will mention everything to my doctor on Wednesday
