WHat could tingly sensation in ovary area be?

I have a 5 month DS, am still mostly BF, supplementing with FF at night.
I have not yet had AF return.
The last couple of days I have had really annoying consistent tingling in the left ovarian area. Accompanied by an occasional jabbing type sensation, not quite pain.
I also felt a bit nauseous / light headed yesterday. I REALLY hope I am not pregnant! (very unlikely but not impossible).... but I dont remember this tingling feeling, and also only having sensation on one side.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am hoping it is just because AF is on the way!

thnx

I did have a twisty feeling in my ovaries for about 6 months - it transpired that it happened when I was ovulating! Sometimes it was quite strong / uncomfortable and other times it was minor, I suppose it could have been described as tingly...

I was going to say ovulation too...

you could be noticing it more because it's the first time in a while

i would agree ovualtion. i have often felt it but only on one side and it is a really odd sensation which lasts about an hour

thanks for the responses. This "tingly" sensation has been going on for about 4 days now!! I had a sharp twinge of pain there yesterday, so I wonder if that was the actual ovulation.
