I have just found out that I have this after thinking I just had a trapped nerve in my left arm because it's felt slightly weak and numb since Feb.
So I am just slightly freaking out. The nerve is trapped in my neck due to degenerative changes to the discs in my neck. The neurologist says it's progressive and will get worse. I have it mildly at the moment but apparently will end up in a lot of pain. My nerves aren't damaged yet though I have mild neuropathy in my arm.
They say the condition can be slowed down by physio and anti inflammatory drugs but not cured and they don't like to operate on the neck because of the risks and the fact that it's not always successful.
I am worried I am stuck with this dodgy arm and am noticing many symptoms I'd previously dismissed. I feel like a ticking time bomb.
Anyone any experience?
