I had a bit of an overactive bladder a few years ago which seem to just dissaper it has come back , I had a urine sample to check it wasn't an infection and it was. I didn't gor back for bladder stablises as wanted to try it on my own. The strange thing is I can hold it for ages but I soon need it after I've been. & I sort of feel like I'm not emptying properly! I'm quite a lot overweight so I'm hoping if I lose weight things will gt better any experience with this? ?

You need to get it checked, retention of urine usually doesn't sort itself out. Go and speak to your GP, if you had an infection it may still be lingering around.

Did you make an appointment with GP? If you have new symptoms you should go back. They may refer you to a urologists for further tests if the problem persists.
