DS - eye problem. Doctors?

I'm a bit crap, tend to ignore health problems rather than see a doctor if possible, long back story. Leads to me needing some sort of validation for anything that doesnt seem obviously serious.

Anyway, DS2 has had a bad eye for maybe just under a week, not bothering him at all, but it hasnt cleared up either. Dr google possibly suggests dacryocystitis which it says needs antibiotics. It doesnt seem to be in the right place to be a stye?

I just wanted to check that it doesnt look like something minor that i have missed, and that you dont think i'm being overanxious to take him to see a doctor?

Thanks :)

it looks like a stye. probably does need a drs visit yes. i understand your reluctance as i suffer from anxiety.

its not a serious problem and easily sorted so better to go now in case it develops and more time ar drs needed Flowers

Thank you :)

Been out this morning, saw a pharmacist while we were in boots. He has given chloropheneramine as said it looks like conjunctivitis with a possible stye alongside. Doesnt look at all like conjunctivitis to me, but i'm not the expert so guess i'll give it a go.

Of course it is bloody typical that it's just as we're going on holiday, so unless we see the gp this week, it has to wait til a week monday.

Hmm... Do you think there should be an improvement by Friday? Its 5 days worth of drops but fri is the latest i could see a regular gp.
