Newborn (18 d.o.) - Where's the poo gone?

I've not been worrying about this yet... but now thinking that perhaps I should worry... Advice appreciated.

Ds was pooing a couple of times a day to begin with. Today he's 18 days old. He hasn't done a poo for the last three days (poss even four).

I've not been worried up to now as I've heard bf babies can have erratic poo patterns - and been distracted by Dd1 and lack of sleep! Wet nappies seem suffcient. Max gap between a feed four hours. Generally feeds pretty frequently (a lot of fairly short feeds, some longer ones if he doses off for an hour or two at a stretch). At day 13 was still 4 oz under birth weight - but had been gaining steadily at roughly 1oz per day after an initial loss of 7% of body weight (not too much). Seems well in himself (excepting slightly blocked up nose courtesy of big sister germs).

Next weigh in chez hv friday. Do I need to see GP sooner?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, think you do need to get this checked sooner. Not pooing in the first 6 weeks can be dangerous.
